I was raised Catholic in a small town in southwest Minnesota. I participated in mass as a server before confirmation. I was also an active member of the Newman Center at the University of Michigan during graduate school. I began attending the Episcopal Church 10 years ago, when Jennifer and I became engaged. We were married at Christ Episcopal Church in Cooperstown, NY and attended the Cathedral of the Incarnation of Baltimore for several years. Our oldest daughter, Ella, was baptized at the Cathedral. We joined CHC in 2012 after moving to Lutherville. During our time at CHC, I have enjoyed being a chalicist and a driver for Food For Thought. Since 2011, I have been an assistant professor in the Kinesiology Department (Exercise Science) at Towson University. When I have time, I enjoy running and playing with my daughters.
