In her newest book Sermon on the Mount, Dr. Amy-Jill Levine takes a detailed and colorful overview of Matthew 5-7, collectively known as Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. This includes some of the best—known scriptures, including the Beatitudes, The Lord’s Prayer, and teachings on the Kingdom of God. Through Dr. Levine’s engaging method of biblical interpretation, we will come away with a deeper understanding of the Sermon on the Mount and hopefully a renewed commitment to the Way, to discipleship.
Beginning Tuesday, November 10 at 12pm, we will spend six weeks exploring, unpacking and discussing the Sermon on the Mount. We will be meeting on zoom and a link will be sent at a later date. Please email me at [email protected] if you plan on attending.
