Since that time, we have participated in many activities, including weekend retreats at Claggett and adult education. I am treasurer, chairman of the Finance Committee, member of the Endowment Fund, and also help Carol, who coordinates the coffee hour teams. In addition to church activities, Carol and I have administered for more than 15 years a weekly neighborhood food collection for the Hereford Food Bank.

I married my high school sweetheart Carol, when we eloped to North Carolina after graduating from Towson High School in 1962. We have three grown children: Charlies IV, Laure, and Bryan. As a father, I participated in father and son camping trips and "Pinewood Derbies" with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.

I have been a sales representative since 1965 and in orthopaedic sales for over 31 years. In my most recent position before retiring, I developed a training program to prepare new sales reps to assist orthopaedic surgeons and/or staff in planning and consulting total joint surgery.

I completed a B.S. in Business Administration at Towson University in 1993 while working full time. My interests include investment and portfolio management and meditation, as well as endless reading on diverse subjects, such as biographies, history, religion and investing.
